It is with great pleasure that we announce the visit of his Excellency, Engineer Ahmad Hamad Alsubih, Secretary General of Arab Towns Organization, to Lebanon from August 8 through August 13, 2018. This visit was planned, initiated, and prepared by Mrs. Abir Khoury Jbeily (Chargé of International Relations for the municipalities of Baalbek, Jeita, Jdeideh-Bauchrieh-Sed, Furn el-Chebbak, and Dekwaneh), in coordination with Ms. Jinan Hussein (Secretary General Office director and Media&International Relation Coordinator at the ATO) in Kuwait along with several Lebanese mayors, and is hosted by General Hussein EL-Lakis, Mayor of the Municipality of Baalbeck.

Joining of Forces for the Common Good With the aim of developing and modernizing municipal and local institutions in Arab cities through a common collaborative network, The ATO currently includes 35 member Lebanese municipalities. His Excellency’s visit to Lebanon will hopefully bring the remaining non-member Lebanese municipalities to join this prestigious organization.
