Frem: The Power of Lobbying
MP Neemat Frem discussed the importance of lobbying for the people, as his motto remains “Human Being First”. With a primary concern for the well-being of the Lebanese citizen, Frem discussed a detrimental challenge facing Lebanon nowadays: how to free municipalities from the debts owed to the waste management company Sukleen. Releasing municipalities from the financial captivity of these debts would allow them to launch developmental procedures through decentralization in order to revive their economic situations. Deeming the waste issue as utterly unacceptable, Frem encouraged the power of lobbying to eventually witness positive change taking place.
